The Brief

Solterra came to me before the brand had officially launched.

As a new direct-to-consumer beauty brand, they needed more than product photos. They needed a visual foundation that could introduce the product, communicate their mission, and help customers connect with the brand from day one.

Built around sustainability, wellness, and conscious beauty, Solterra's Lip Bloom combines traditional ingredients with modern design, including a refillable bamboo tube and eco-friendly packaging. The challenge was bringing that story to life through photo and video content that felt authentic, elevated, and trustworthy.

The Approach

I partnered with the founder and creative team to develop a content library that could support the brand across every stage of launch.

The shoot combined lifestyle imagery, beauty photography, product photography, founder portraits, and short-form video content. Every detail was intentional, from the diverse casting and natural styling to the organic textures, botanicals, and ingredients used throughout the set design.

Visually, we leaned into a bright, clean and natural aesthetic that felt fresh and modern while staying true to the brand's sustainability-focused mission.

The Outcome

The result was a cohesive collection of photo and video assets designed to support Solterra's website, social media, email marketing, PR efforts, and product launch campaigns.

Rather than relying on stock imagery, Solterra launched with a custom content library that reflected the quality of the product and the values behind the brand. The imagery helped establish trust, tell the product story, and create a consistent visual experience across every customer touchpoint.

This project is a great example of the kind of work I love most: helping early-stage wellness and beauty brands build a visual presence that feels as thoughtful as the products they're creating.
